Jay-Ego

Heres the Mr. Carter verse in full, some questionable lines here. Firstly "with my crown"?, if anyone saw the footage from SummerJam I think its safe to say whos wearing the crown right now, and his names Wayne not Shawn. It could be argued his name is mentioned with the Biggie's and the Pac's but the Garvey's and Marley's, doubtful. Also a couple of patronizing shots taken at Weezy. See what you think:

Ch-yeah!
I'm right, chyeah
In my chair
With my crown, with my dear
Queen Bee, as I share
Mic time, with my air
Young Carter
Go farther
Go further
Go harder
Is that not
Why we came? and if not,
Then why bother?
Show no mercy in Murcielago's
I'm far from be-ing the bas-tard that Marcy had fathered
Now my name's being mentioned with the martyrs
The Biggie's and the Pac's and the Marley's and the Marcuses
Garvey
Got me
A Molotov Cocktail
Flow even if you box well
Can't stop the blows *Kaboom*
The Roc Boy in the room
The dope, boy just came off the spoon
Also
I'm so
Fly I'm on auto-
Pilot
While guys just
Stare at my wardrobe
I see Euro's
That's right, plural
I took so much change
From this rap game
It's your go!
(Hey Mr. Carter)
Young!

Maybe he should of written it down?

For a guy that alleges to never write a rhyme down maybe he could of used a pen and pad to have an answer ready for the question everyone was wondering. What do you actually do at the Nets? Answer .... "Ummmm, eeeerrr, I'm an investor". Oh dear, he even cracked a smile when asked. Horribly caught out. Thats alright we all know the answer - "nothing, im just the poster (step) child of the organization"

Responses regarding the booking of Jay-Z to headline Glastonbury, culminated with slower ticket sales than usual has brought up some interesting issues over the last couple months. I was reminded of this by Jay's recent response to Noel Gallagher's stupidity.

In case you missed it Noel said "I'm sorry, but Jay-Z? No chance. Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music." followed by "i'm not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong"

Besides blatant ignorance (hip-hop artists have been performing at Glastonbury for years) it also shows a huge prejudice towards the music which has been echoed by many. The outcry that they should allow a rapper to have their precious "headline" slot highlights the snobbery and racist opinions of the people who attend this festival in direct contradiction to what it stands for.

As a hip-hop head I spent many hours standing at that festival watching artists that I would never of thought to see but I did so with an open mind and respected their craft whether I liked the music or not. It appears that fake liberals, bohemians and the legions of mdma, ketamine and ecasty takers cannot do the same. It's a daam shame.

Heres Jay-Z's response to the whole debacle:

"We don't play guitars, Noel, but hip-hop has put in its work like any other form of music."

"This headline show is just a natural progression. Rap music is still evolving. From Afrika Bambaataa DJ-ing in the Bronx and RUN DMC going platinum, to Jazzy Jeff And The Fresh Prince winning the first rap Grammy, I'm just next in the line. We have to respect each other's genre of music and move forward ....

"The world has to change. It just can't be one thing -- and that's the beautiful thing."

Exactly.

The regression of Shawn Carter

(Jigga back to the future?)

"are we hustling or are we grown up?" This is what Joe Budden asked. Well, Jay once said 30 is the new 20 (well, something like that), I guess he thinks he's 20 again based on these latest tracks. 40 this year, rapping about things you did 20 years ago in present tense is not progress.

Rocafella survives through Lebron?

While still waiting for the Rockafella raffle to unflold news appears today to further increase speculation that Lebron James will be coming to what will be the newly establish Brooklyn Nets with the help of some persuasion from mentor Jay-Z. Plans are already in motion at Nets HQ as how best to accommodate their future star. See full story here

PLAIN UGLINESS

People love to idolize and masturbate over the glitz and glamour of the music and entertainment industry, we all love the airbrushed photos of Mariah Carey's breast cleavage or Bey's (SERIOUSLY IM A CHURCH BITCH, but I dress like a hoe) arse sticking right out on a press shoot. But we all forget about the real ugly motherfuckers, that really, are the ones making all the other people seem hot. (we all know Mariah is ugly right? it's not just me?) If it wasn't for these people who actually get into the limelight cos they have a talent unlike some of the people who make it onto the walls of teenagers for their looks. (THAT HOT BITCH OFF THE PUSSY CAT DOLLS)

So here is an ode to all those rappers and RnB crooners that would be getting no pussy if it weren't for their dollars and all those ugly bitches that, well just wouldn't be on the telly if they didn't have the talent, ya dig?

JAY Z:
First I couldn't let Jay Camel get away with it.
I mean this guy is with possibly the hottest RnB chick in the game, but this photo if nothing more proves that BEAUTY is indeed in the eye of the beholder or the pocket of the beloved?? you can't tell me that if this guy was broke he would be moving the way he is, unless of course he's one charming motherfucker. Which he could be, but we talking charm out the arse (no homo).

LIL KIM
This bitch was actually ok, (when i say that, i mean back in the get money video days I would probably have hit that) but now after lots of plastic surgery, the queen B is looking fucking ropey boy.
I would give this bitch no more than a 3 out of 10 and worst thing is she goes on like she's hot, cussing people like Remy Ma saying she looks like a man. I ain't saying Remy is hot but damn Kim, u one ugly
looking bitch these days!

NE YO
I had to put this pic up if for nothing else just to catch some joke. Chicks and weird men alike are all going crazy bout Ne Yo right now, I'm not saying its just cos he's supposedly cute cos he can sing, but i had found it slightly unusual that he is is always wearing something on his head.
Now we have our answer as to why. Ne Yo needs to link up with Sir Elton John and swap hair transplant tips cos hes going thin on top like its no ones business. Isn't this guy like in his early 20's?????? With his hat off he looks like late 30s!

Oh yeah and this pic came about thanks to the fact Ne YO was out doing over 100 mph in his Range Rover this weekend. He got shift and this is the photo the police took. NICE!
